My name is Daniel Abriol and I’m a hairstylist born and raised in the City of Angels in Los Angeles, CA. 1st generation raised by migrating parents from the Philippines in search to give us a better opportunity in life. Currently working in Old Town Pasadena at Collective Hair.
So much of the hair scene in L.A. is glamorized by the movie industry here in Hollywood. I love to do glam but the real inspiration for me comes from the gritty youth on the streets and the diverse young families that are truly the backbone of the city. I think the thing that I love the most is when the guests that sit in my chair genuinely enjoy what I do for their hair. I consider everyone an A-list client and believe that every person has an amazing story to be told. And their hair should reflect and compliment that story.
I’m well trained and diverse in all aspects of hairdressing but tend to gravitate towards hair relaxers and texturizers, cutting hair with scissors and razors, natural curly hair and styling. Along with 20 years of experience in the salon, I am equally as passionate about creating hairstyles for celebrities, high fashion editorials, commercials, runway shows, and advertising.
